Karla’s recent painting style she pegs as skewed realism with a touch of whimsy.    For her paintings, she likes to start with an idea, take scores of photographs, make a loose sketch and then let the painting take on a life of its own. All are delicious in detail.

These are some of Karla's original acrylic on canvas. Although most are sold, they can be made for you using the giclee process on canvas and usually made in the size that you desire. Prices vary with image and size - Please contact Karla for specifics.

The Giclee Process - is a representation of Karla's original acrylic painting. The Giclee print is an archival quality reproduction with a resolution of 1800 DPI, utilizing an 8 color process with low fade water-based dye inks. The prints have a permanance of 75 years when displayed under normal circumstance and when put next to the original its hard to tell the difference.
